Museo Civico Etnografico Alta Valle Brembana

Description

You’ll be able to see about 2000 objects in what wants to be a place where things are preserved but also a place where you can rediscover Val Brembana. The numerous rural objects used to make milk, and other craftsmen and domestic activities come back to life in the ancient palace that became the model of a traditional house of Alta Valle. Furnished and structured according to the lifestyle of the families that used to live in the area.

Once you’ve entered in the museum, you’ll be projected in the remote past, where technology was absent and the daily life was full of functional and simple tools. You’ll see the smithshop, the work bench of the carpenter, tools used to make cheese, the loom, the lathe and many other daily objects: chest, cupboard, wardrobes, tables, chairs and also the toys with which children used to play and cribs!
