Smartrippin

Smartrippin

The first App dedicated to the wonders, touristic, artistic and food and wine itineraries around the City of Bergamo. SmarTrippin changes the concept of a tourist app, offering multiple possibilities to use a single product. Here’s how:
Original content. Newly drafted texts with cultural and historical information through storytelling.
Geolocation map. Used onsite, it is supported by a geolocalisation map, which can be navigated online to offer a clear view of the routes and most important points of interest.
Customised itineraries. The app proposes content on monuments, roads, squares, museums and other interesting locations, but also has sections dedicated to specific itineraries, modulated based on the user’s specific needs. Routes are mapped out for those on the move with children, for couples or those looking for lifestyle experiences or anyone, with little time, who wants to see the city as quickly as possible.
Georeferenced audio guide. All the content can be listened to onsite during the tour. The traditional guided visit is refreshed using infinite technological possibilities. The Italian narration is provided by Francesca Jemma, already known to the public in famous advertising campaigns. The English narrator is Sharon Fryer, also famous for her work on advertisements for internationally renowned brands.
Georeferenced augmented reality. Pointing the camera of your Smartphone or tablet to the surrounding area, you are informed of monuments, squares, bars and restaurants nearby. Simply click on the name you are interested in for content and information.
Open and international accessibility. The app is available in Italian and English. Other languages coming soon.

and in a covering of delightful vegetation, interrupted by steep, old-looking cliffs, there is the odd farmhouse, village, church or tower.
When the sky is blue, the valley looks like an old emerald vase, with a transparent sapphire lid...' - Abbot Antonio Stoppani
