Just 1 hour away from Milan Bergamo airport and 50 minutes from Bergamo city centre, you can find an unprecedented and breath-taking view of Dossena and the Serina Valley. It is a 505-metre long, single-span walkway built with 1200 treads and steel ropes that keep it suspended at incredible heights (up to 120m above the ground).
The Ponte del Sole starts from the former shooting range Roccolo Corna Bianca and can be reached on foot from the village of Dossena thanks to a pathway. After an introduction and brief training about the experience, well harnessed and followed by local experts, you can begin the adventurous crossing with your friends or family.
The bridge is the aerial version of part of the route of the ancient Via Mercatorum, lost after the construction of the provincial road that connects Dossena to Serina. Walking along it you will enjoy a unique view of the landscapes of the Orobic Prealps, you will be able to look out over the San Pellegrino valley floor framed by the Grigna, Gioco and Alben mountains.
