The breath taking show of the Serio Waterfalls, the vegetal cathedral of the Mount Arera and the Vertova Valley canyons are just some of the natural beauties of the “Parco delle Orobie seriano”.

From Palma il Vecchio’s painting in Alzano, to Clusone with its museum and its Danse Macabre, Seriana Valley is a land full of art and charm…don’t miss Gandino and Casnigo, two jewels nestled in the mountains.

Moroni, the Renaissance painter whose works are displayed in several international museums, came from the Seriana Valley, too. Discover his paintings in the church of San Giuliano, in Albino, the village where he was born.

Have a glass of Moscato di Scanzo and Anesium sparkling wine. Match them with some “Scarpinocc” (fresh stuffed pasta), salami and ham, cheeses and corn cookies: just a sample of the delicious kitchen of the Valley.

Mountain bike, trekking and climbing routes for the most adventurous ones. Seriana Valley means sports, as well…don’t miss it during the winter, when you can chose among ski and snowboard slopes, snowshoes and cross country skiing.

Another hidden treasure: the DI Scalve Valley. Go discover its high altitude natural landscapes, the ancient mines and its museums. With the coming of winter, also the cross-country skiing track of Schilpario and the international slopes of Colere open.
