A guided tasting of four sakes to introduce you to this Japanese beverage, covering its characteristics, production methods, culture, and common misconceptions.
On Tuesday, November 3, at 7:00 p.m., La Bidule in Treviglio will host the second event in the “Journey to Japan: Discovering Sake” series. This event was organized following the sold-out success of the first evening—which sold out even before the flyer was published—and offers an introduction to the world of sake designed even for those who have never tasted it before.
During the evening, four types of sake will be featured, including a Junmai Daiginjo, a Junmai Ginjo, and a Junmai, selected to showcase different styles and characteristics. The tasting will be led by Erica Bocchi, a Sake Sommelier certified by the Sake Sommelier Association, who will guide participants through the production, serving, and sensory characteristics of sake, while also delving into certain aspects of Japanese culture and common misconceptions associated with this beverage.
The event will take place at La Bidule, located at Via Oreste Mozzali 3/5 in Treviglio. The cost is 27 euros per person, and reservations are required. The event is confirmed once eight participants have signed up.
