WHO PAYS THE TAX?
The tax is payable by individuals who, not resident in the Municipality of Treviglio, stay in the accommodation facilities referred to in Regional Law No. 27 of October 1, 2015, on tourism (including properties intended for short-term rental under Article 4, of Decree Law No. 50 of 24/04/2017), located in the territory
of the Municipality of Treviglio.
HOW MUCH DO YOU PAY?
The tourist tax is determined per person and per number of overnight stays. The tax is payable up to a maximum number of 5 (FIVE) consecutive nights spent in the same accommodation facility.

Classification 3 stars, Tax per person per overnight stay 2.00 euros
EXEMPTIONS
The following are exempt from paying the tourist tax:
a. minors under the age of 18 (eighteen);
b. sick persons who must undergo treatment at health facilities located in the municipal territory and any accompanying person;
c. those who assist patients admitted to health facilities in the municipal territory at the rate of one accompanying person per patient;
d. members of state and local police forces, as well as the National Fire Brigade and Civil Defense Corps who stay overnight for service needs;
e. people with disabilities recognized by special certification under Law 104/1992 and one of their companions;
The exemption referred to in points b) and c) is subject to the submission to the manager of the accommodation facility of appropriate self-certification, as per the model made available by the municipality, certifying the personal details of the sick or inpatient and the reference period of the health care services or hospitalization. The accompanying person must also declare, in accordance with Articles 46 and 47 of Presidential Decree 445/2000, as amended, that the stay at the accommodation facility is for the purpose of health care towards the inpatient or disabled person.
