Over the course of three weekends, participants will be able to choose from various itineraries dedicated to the many facets of Valtellina’s wine production. “Sforzati and Sparkling Wines” takes participants on a journey to discover the Sforzati—a symbol of local viticulture—along with the valley’s sparkling wines, with stops at Palazzo Malacrida, the Cloister of Sant’Antonio, and the town’s historic cellars. “Rossi e Bio,” on the other hand, highlights Valtellina Superiore, the Reserves, and organic wines, while “Rossi, Bianchi & Rosé” offers a journey through the diverse expressions of the region’s wines. The Cloister of Sant’Antonio will also host the return of “Voci di Vigna,” a space dedicated to ten producers invited to discuss their work and their wines. Among the new features of this edition will be the “Non-Alcoholic Sips of Valtellina” initiative, a journey dedicated to herbal infusions, artisanal juices, and non-alcoholic fermented beverages. Alongside the tastings, the program offers experiences to explore the region beyond the wineries: from guided e-bike tours through the vineyards to the “Tra Affreschi e Filari” tours, from the Wine & Wellness Experience in the gardens of Palazzo Malacrida to the Wine Jobs Experience, dedicated to career opportunities in the wine industry. Rounding out the program are the traditional flavors of Valtellina, including pizzoccheri, cheeses, bresaola, and local desserts.
