From mid-September to early November, Bonate Sopra will once again host pumpkin picking and decorating, the Academy of Magic, themed picnics, the VIP area, and new culinary offerings from Tulipania.
From mid-September to early November, Tulipania returns to bring autumn to the field at Via Marco Biagi 84 in Bonate Sopra with its new season dedicated to pumpkins.
The Tulipania project was launched in 2018; the following fall, it opened the first “pick-your-own” pumpkin field in the province of Bergamo. Since then, it has established itself as Lombardy’s premier pumpkin patch, thanks to its long-standing history, the distinctive nature of the experience, and the wide variety of activities on offer. It has brought the American tradition of the “Pumpkin Patch”—picking your own pumpkin straight from the field—to the Bergamo area, reinterpreting it with an Italian sensibility characterized by care, hospitality, creativity, good food, and a focus on quality time spent together.
The heart of the season remains the activity that has made Tulipania a fall tradition: walking through the field, searching for the pumpkin that seems to be waiting for us, picking it, and transforming it with colors and imagination—or carving it for Halloween. It’s an experience designed first and foremost for families with children at an age when creating with their hands is still a little adventure—one to enjoy together and then take home. Rounding out the program is the return of the Academy of Magic, one of the most beloved attractions, along with the play areas. The new season at the Pumpkin Patch also features new themed displays and original handmade creations, designed to make every corner even more special: an atmosphere rich in detail, creativity, and autumnal magic, all waiting to be experienced and discovered. The entire experience is also designed with family planners in mind: a welcoming and well-maintained place that keeps children entertained while allowing adults the pleasure of slowing down.
