This tour offers an in-depth exploration of the art and history of Alzano Lombardo’s historic center. The tour focuses on highlighting the town’s Baroque heritage, examining the architecture and decorations characteristic of the 16th and 17th centuries. The tour includes a visit to the Basilica of San Martino, where you can observe significant features such as:

  • the polychrome marble pulpit designed by Andrea Fantoni;
  • the stucco work created by the Sala family;
  • paintings from the Venetian school of the 16th and 17th centuries;
  • 19th-century paintings from the Accademia Carrara, including works by Giovanni Carnovali, known as Il Piccio.

The tour continues at the Duomo Museum, where visitors can view the wooden sacristies, renowned for their intricate decoration and international artistic significance.
