The conference dedicated to Bernardo Zenale, a painter and architect from Treviglio, is being held to mark the 500th anniversary of his death. Luigi Minuti’s presentation explores the historical context of the Sforza era and Treviglio’s significance within the Duchy of Milan, while also analyzing theories regarding the presence of Saint Martin in the famous Treviglio polyptych.

The event is part of the fall session of the Anteas University of Bergamo and aims to reconstruct the artistic and political context in which the artist worked; his work can still be seen in the Basilica of San Martino.
