The program features an afternoon of festivities, workshops, and community activities. It will be an opportunity to get to know firsthand the many associations and social organizations that bring the area to life.
During the event, information about the Neighborhood Network’s activities will be available at the Welcome Desk.
From 2:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., the parish will organize tours of the church and the renovated parish house.
The All Ages Center will offer games, burraco, chess, gentle exercise demonstrations, and presentations on yoga classes.
Starting at 4:00 PM, the Autism Center will host the “Drum Circle” music workshop.
Rounding out the program will be the Swiss School’s multilingual orienteering event, tree decorations by the Benvenuti School, the distribution of fabric bookmarks and an exhibition of albums on St. Francis curated by Ago e Filo, as well as sports activities on the Polisportiva dei Colli soccer field and entertainment provided by the Scouts.
The Italian Red Cross will set up an ambulance in the square, along with demonstrations of BLS/MSP techniques and face painting for children. The Alpini Group will be in charge of preparing autumn dishes.
Starting at 4 p.m., there will be a snack provided by La Casa di Pat and Dolce Forno – Dispensa Sociale.
The event is part of the “Neighborhood Networks – Living in Valtesse San Colombano” project, co-funded by the European Union, the Lombardy Region, and the City of Bergamo.
