Here are the six Bergamasque villages that have received recognition from the Touring Club
Bergamo is a land of multifaceted charm, rich in historical, naturalistic and enogastronomic uniqueness. Find out with us which localities in the province have been awarded the Orange Flag, a tourist-environmental quality mark that the Italian Touring Club grants to small municipalities (maximum 15,000 inhabitants) that stand out for the excellence of their offerings and hospitality.

Clusone, the Pearl of the Seriana Valley, awaits you among the Orobie Mountains with its “harmonious and homogeneous historic center” of great historical and artistic interest, “excellent dining facilities and numerous events” throughout the year.
Also in the Seriana Valley you find Gromo, the beautiful medieval village perched on a cliff.
Of its riches, the Touring Club particularly praises the accessibility and beauty of the historic center, the information service and complementary tourist services, such as those dedicated to sports.
Unveiling another Middle Ages is Almenno San Bartolomeo, in the Imagna Valley. In addition to masterpieces of the Romanesque period such as the Rotunda of San Tomè, it stands out for “the quality of local handicraft production, particularly that of wood, to which a museum is also dedicated.”

Visit Sarnico for its “quaint, well-preserved and lively historic center,” its “local food outlets, restaurants and accommodations”-and don’t forget a stroll along the lakefront.
One of the newest flags is Castione della Presolana. It’s always waiting for you in the upper Seriana Valley, “nestled in a valuable landscape context” with its lively “naturalistic resources and outdoor activities, […] dining and accommodation facilities, typical products and handicrafts.”
A paradise among trails and ski slopes!
The latest addition to the group, Ardesio is a mountain village that is still authentic and strongly tied to its traditions. Like Castione it awaits you in the Seriana Valley, but on the left bank of the river.
