The exhibition “Music, Art, Light” features a selection of works by the artist Rossano Lorenzi. The exhibition is being held at the space managed by the Fantoni Art School, courtesy of the Province of Bergamo, on Via Camozzi—off Via Sora.
The exhibition features a series of music-themed lamps designed and crafted from fine woods sourced from carpentry offcuts. Each piece combines functionality, craftsmanship, and creativity. The artist has been working with wood since childhood, having grown up in his father’s carpentry shop and carrying on the tradition alongside his son Massimo, blending artisanal expertise with artistic vision.
Works on Display
The exhibition features 12 pieces inspired by music, including:
“The Legacy of Stradivari”: a work that pays homage to the master violin maker with a suspended violin carved from walnut and wenge, woods chosen to evoke the elegance and perfection of Antonio Stradivari’s instruments.
“Il Pipa”: a sculptural lamp inspired by the ancient Eastern musical instrument, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of the harmony between form, sound, and light.
