As part of the “Teatro Dialettale – Fall 2026” festival, Terre del Vescovado presents a new afternoon event celebrating local comedy and tradition. The “La Meridiana” theater company from Mapello will stage Davide Lenisa’s three-act dialect comedy titled“Amanti, ladèr e dutùr… mai fidas de lur!” The story unfolds on a seemingly ordinary night, during which a family suddenly finds itself swept up in a series of hilarious misadventures. Ernesto, taking advantage of his wife’s absence, arranges a secret rendezvous with his mistress. At the same time, a clumsy petty thief breaks into the house, convinced he can carry out his plan undisturbed. The unexpected convergence of events and a succession of unforeseen twists give rise to a whirlwind of comedy, proving that no plan, no matter how meticulously crafted, can ever be truly foolproof.
