The final weekend of “LovereArte” is coming up: Lovere’s historic center will be transformed into an open-air space filled with art, exhibitions, events, music, and workshops.
From Friday, October 9, through Sunday, October 25, 2026, the historic center of Lovere will be transformed into an open space filled with art, exhibitions, events, music, and workshops—a space capable of attracting visitors and creating new opportunities for the community and local businesses. LovereArts is a community art project that brings creativity and beauty to the streets of the town. It fosters a dialogue between the visual arts, music, and performance, turning Lovere into a creative laboratory open to everyone. Alongside these, musicians will enliven the streets and squares with concerts and live performances, fostering a continuous dialogue between the visual arts, music, and creativity that turns Lovere into a creative workshop open to everyone.
The Weekend Schedule
Saturday, October 24,
“Little Birds Made of String” Workshop in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II (organized by Sara Pretotto; sessions at 10:30 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:15 p.m.; reservations recommended).
3:00 p.m.: Event titled “Dear Lake, How Are You?” at the Church of Santa Chiara on Via Santa Maria (organized by Legambiente Alto Sebino; free admission).
Tour of “The La Capitanio Steamship and the Shrine on the Centennial” (departing from Piazza XIII Martiri).
“Medieval Lovere” (a walk through towers and narrow streets with access to the Torricella and the Church of San Giorgio; starting from Piazza XIII Martiri).
3:30 p.m.: Live Portraits in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II (curated by Alberto Filosi “Filoarte” and Ellis Cipriano).
5:00 p.m.: Handpan & Cello Concert in the Piazzetta on Via S. Maria (featuring Roberta Selva and Alessandro Salvini).
Sunday, October 25
10:00 a.m.: “The Herbarium of Wonders” (a walk exploring edible wild plants led by Lara Angoli; meeting at Via Cavallotti—Pasticceria Wender).
From 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: “Wood in Your Hands” workshop in the Piazzetta on Via S. Maria (organized by the Accademia del Legno in Bossico).
3:00 p.m.: Live art with Bulgari and A Random Painter in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. Experience at the Printing Museum at Via Matteotti 13.
4:00 p.m.: Performance by the Mibemolle Choir in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II.
6:00 p.m.: Book presentation of “La Capitanio” in the Fresco Room of the Tadini Academy.
