The play *Sorridendo me ne vado* (Smiling, I’m Leaving), written and performed by Rocco Ancarola alongside Giorgia Favoti, explores the complex figure of Mauro Rostagno. The play traces the life of a man who was a student leader in Trento, the founder of Lotta Continua and the Milanese club Macondo, as well as the Saman community. Through the use of archival documents, his daughter’s words, and accounts from his friends, the play also examines the cover-ups surrounding the investigation into his death, which occurred in an ambush while he was working as a journalist in Trapani.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 7, at 9:00 p.m. at Spazio Caverna in Bergamo. Admission requires a Teatro Caverna membership card, which costs 2 euros. Tickets are available at the full price of 10 euros and a reduced price of 5 euros.
The event is part of Abboccaperta, Teatro Caverna’s theater and culture festival, organized in collaboration with the City of Bergamo and Bergamo per i Giovani, and with support from the Province of Bergamo, the ASM Foundation, and the Bergamo Community Foundation.
