It’s Judy’s wedding day, and at the Westerby house, preparations are in full swing: flowers to pick up, relatives to accommodate, and guests arriving. At the center of the commotion is Timothy, the bride’s father, who is supposed to be in charge of the ceremony but finds himself dealing with Polly, a lively young woman whom only he can see.
This gives rise to a series of misunderstandings and increasingly improbable situations: Timothy must find a way to explain Polly’s presence without being thought of as crazy, while suspicions and misunderstandings mount around him. The comedy, written by Ray Cooney and John Chapman and staged by L’Indomita Compagnia Teatrale, thus creates a fast-paced blend of humor and constant plot twists.
