The event features a guided tour through the gardens, ruins, and tower of the Visconti Castle, illuminated exclusively by candlelight. The tour retraces the crimes committed in 1870 by Vincenzo Verzeni, known as “the Vampire of Bergamo,” a 19th-century crime story that also involved the scholar Cesare Lombroso.
The experience, organized by Gruppo Teatro Tempo and WIP Teatro and directed by Danilo Lamperti, unfolds as a theatrical performance in which actors and evocative settings reenact the violent episodes linked to this historical figure. This initiative serves as a sequel to the production “Murder on the Adda.”
