The tour includes a walk through the streets of the village, once an important center of the wool trade, where the historic buildings and views bear witness to the community’s periods of prosperity. The itinerary includes a visit to the Church of San Bartolomeo, featuring medieval frescoes and works of art, and to the Church of San Giuliano, which houses masterpieces by the painter Giovan Battista Moroni.
The tour continues with a stop at the Maglio Calvi in Comenduno, a testament to the local metallurgical tradition, and at the Torre Ethnographic Museum, dedicated to the rural and industrial history of the area. During the afternoon, the “Taissine di Gorno”—figures associated with the sorting of mineral ore and representative of the historical memory of the Bergamo community—will be present.
