The event returns to the squares and streets of the historic center, offering visitors the chance to explore booths dedicated to traditional arts and crafts. The program includes a literary walk, baghet music, vintage tractors, and much more.
Along the streets of the town center—which will, of course, be closed to traffic—we will feature specially decorated floats that will recreate various rooms of an old farmhouse. There will be extras bringing these spaces to life, as well as various animals that will capture the interest of the little ones.
At Piazza Manzoni, an organization will entertain the children with the famous wooden toys of yesteryear, offering a tangible experience of something new—a far cry from what they’re used to playing with every day. Along the town’s streets, there will be bicycles specially equipped with the tools of traditional trades. These bicycles will bring to life the trades of once-iconic figures—the doctor, the priest, the blacksmith, and so on…
An exhibition will be set up featuring tools recovered from old farmhouses, specially prepared for display. In addition, thanks to our collaboration with artisans, we will organize workshops focused on crafts that have nearly disappeared or, in any case, involve completely different production processes. In the wool workshop, children will be able to touch the raw material and observe the production process, while in the milk workshop they will learn where some of the foods they consume every day come from.
There will, of course, be a food court, which will naturally feature dishes inspired by traditional cuisine—a style of cooking that aimed to make use of as much as possible, reducing waste to almost zero.
