The Cane & Selvatico project offers an observation experience in a wooded setting designed to help participants discover the habits and signs of wildlife during the fall season. The initiative focuses on well-being and the relationship between humans, dogs, and the wild, through visual, olfactory, and auditory exploration of nature.
The event is led by dog trainers Nadia Rossi and Michela Previtali, who specialize in the cognitive zoo-anthropological approach, with the support of naturalist Alessandra Riva. Each outing features two guides—one specializing in nature and one in dog training—to foster a deep connection between participants, their dogs, and the ecosystem. The program includes four annual sessions to observe the changing seasons in the forest and the behavior of wildlife.
The event takes place in the beech forests near the summit of Mount Alben. The event is open to everyone, and you don’t need to bring a dog to participate.
