The 24th edition of “deSidera Bergamo Festival” will bring 90 events to Bergamo that will run between the central playbill and the parallel paths that will enrich it. Scheduled are national debuts, new productions and performances for all.
The Province of Bergamo is preparing to welcome “deSidera.” The festival dedicated to Benvenuto Cuminetti and signed by Gabriele Allevi, Giacomo Poretti and Luca Doninelli, artistic directors of the 24th edition, which consecrates it as one of the longest-running theater festivals in the entire Province of Bergamo.
The new edition brings more than 90 theatrical events throughout the Bergamo area between the central core of the festival and the parallel paths that enrich it: “Sguardi all’insù” the review dedicated to children, children and families promoted in collaboration with the Sistema Bibliotecario Area Nord-Ovest of Ponte San Pietro, “Natura & Cultura” the review that prunes performances aboard the MotoTeatro in the naturalistic places of the Mid-Lombard Plain in collaboration with Pianura da Scoprire and “Le vie della commedia” the festival of Commedia dell’Arte in the lands of Harlequin promoted by the Polo Culturale Mercatorum and Priula.
The variety that makes up the playbill confirms “deSidera” as a festival capable of dialoguing indiscriminately with the entire provincial territory: collaborating with supra-territorial tourism promotion bodies, cultural hubs and libraries present throughout the province through painstaking work to research, listen and identify the main needs of local communities.
A new edition, number twenty-four, that increasingly characterizes the Bergamasque festival’s propensity to constantly search for young talents scouted from stages all over Italy, working on new productions and special projects that tell the cultural typicalities of the Bergamasque territory and national debuts of companies that choose “deSidera” for the first presentation to the public of their new shows.
