CullanDo – Music from Birth is a free program designed for all expectant mothers who want to discover how sound and the human voice can accompany them during these special months. The initiative, organized in collaboration with the ASST Bergamo Ovest Family Planning Clinic, offers three afternoon sessions dedicated to the deep connection between music, pregnancy, and a baby’s first months of life.
During the sessions, participants will have the opportunity to explore the benefits of music during pregnancy—a topic that scientific research has focused on in recent decades—highlighting how sounds and melodies can promote the physical and mental well-being of both the mother and the baby. We’ll discuss how to create a stimulating and reassuring sound environment at home that can support the baby’s development from the very first weeks. Ample attention will also be given to the power of the mother’s voice during pregnancy—a natural and ever-present tool that the baby begins to recognize even before birth.
The sessions are held at the ASST Bergamo Ovest Family Planning Clinic in Treviglio, a space designed to welcome local families as they navigate the journey of parenthood. Participation is free and open to all expectant mothers who wish to take part in this experience, whether alone or accompanied.
