Blackboard is an interdisciplinary project that integrates art, sound, and film. The initiative was created to foster new spaces dedicated to knowledge and freedom of expression, using contemporary works as tools for counter-narratives.
Project Implementation
The program includes four annual initiatives beginning in November 2025, organized around various types of activities:
- screening
- collective listening rituals
- audio-visual installations
Each event will be accompanied by roundtable discussions featuring artists, scholars from various fields, and members of the public.
Useful information
The project is curated by Francesca Ceccherini and organized by Lab 80 film. The activities take place in the Sala dell’Orologio at the new CULT! cultural center, located inside Palazzo della Libertà, City of Bergamo, Province of Bergamo. Partners in the initiative include ISREC—the Bergamo Institute for the History of the Resistance and Contemporary History, the ASM Foundation, Hotel Cappello d’Oro, and the Il Cavaliere Giallo Association—Friends of the Arts.
