Otus (Asio Otus – Long-eared Owl) is the scientific name of a member of the Strigidae family, nocturnal birds of prey whose character evokes vigilance, attentiveness and wisdom, like that of a master. Otus has chosen a distinctive position in the market, with the clear aim of creating beers that offer consistent quality and organoleptic characteristics. It pursues quality through the meticulous selection of raw materials, the skilled craftsmanship of traditional techniques and carefully measured gestures, as well as continuous innovation, with the utmost attention paid to recipe development.
The range includes both top-fermented and bottom-fermented beers, for a total of 11 different products. Five are top-fermented: two bitter India Pale Ale-style beers, a Blanche, a multi-award-winning Stout, and a Red Ale.
Bottom fermentation, a distinctive feature of the brewery, is represented by six beers: a classic Pilsner, two Bocks, one pale and one dark amber, two Helles, pale beers inspired by the German tradition (one of which is also available in a gluten-free version), and a Keller made with 100% Italian-sourced ingredients.
From the A4 motorway exit at Seriate, take the SS498 towards Seriate and then the SS671 towards Lovere. Take the exit for Centro Commerciale Alle Valli and continue along the SP67. After passing the railway overpass, turn left into Via Longhi (Pedrengo). The brewery is located at the roundabout.
