The Valley of Biodiversity, Astino section of theBotanical Garden of Bergamo, is a theme park dedicated to the plants that feed the planet.
It is well embedded in the monastic landscape and poetically integrates the discovery of agricultural biodiversity and the desire for reconciliation with nature.
Here, from April to November, you can observe a thousand varieties of food plants divided into families and marked by the seasons. Since 2025, the Valley has been enriched with a new sector, a bee park entitled Cities, Bees, Plants and People: the park aims to bring the public closer to the great theme of pollination, a fundamental phenomenon for the functioning of ecosystems and food production.
The melliferous plants and panels featured help to understand the ways insects communicate and the seductive strategies of flowers.
Be enchanted by the inimitable nature of Astino, come and discover the Valley of Biodiversity too!
