Discover an exclusive experience in the heart of the Bergamo countryside with a visit to Villa Redona, the private residence of the Medolago Albani family, located in Trescore Balneario, about 15 km from Bergamo, at the entrance to the Cavallina Valley.
The Medolago Albani estate is a place where wine, history, and territory come together naturally. The vineyards extend over 30 hectares on south-facing hills, in an area particularly suited to vine cultivation thanks to its soil and favorable climate. Here, winemaking tradition has continued for centuries and can still be felt in every corner of the estate today.
The winery and the church, the heart of an ancient agricultural hermitage, date back to the early 16th century, while the elegant 18th-century manor house reflects centuries of history and charm.
Just a few kilometers from the villa, the grand fresco of the Christ of the Vineyards by Lorenzo Lotto, housed in the Suardi Chapel in Trescore Balneario, seems to dialogue with a precious 16th-century painting from the school of Lotto, preserved in the chapel of Villa Redona of Medolago Albani, depicting Saint Catherine of Alexandria. This place is a perfect crossroads of art, culture, and passion for wine.
Accompanied by a member of the family, you will have the unique opportunity to visit the historic manor house, walk through its elegant frescoed rooms, and discover the private chapel, which is still consecrated today.
The journey continues in the historic cellar, among aromas, atmospheres, and colors that tell the long winemaking tradition of the region, leading you to the stages of grape processing and wine aging.
