A musical tribute to Luciano Fanton, featuring piano performances, choral singing, and memories of the Maestro. Four pianists will participate in the event: Alberto Nisoli, Michele Bellagente, Gabriele Taranto, and Maria Tsulimova.
On Friday, December 4, 2026, at 8:30 p.m., the Teatro Filodrammatici in Treviglio will host a tribute to Maestro Luciano Fanton. The musical event commemorates the Treviglio-born musician and educator on the centennial of his birth (1926–2026). The City of Treviglio supports the initiative under its patronage.
The tribute to Luciano Fanton combines music and remembrance. Four pianists will participate in the event: Alberto Nisoli, Michele Bellagente, Gabriele Taranto, and Maria Tsulimova. Francesco Chiari and Italo Fanton will share their memories. The Calycanthus Choir, conducted by Franco Forloni, rounds out the group of guests.
A centennial is always a special occasion. The year 2026 marks the 100th anniversary of the Maestro’s birth. This date invites us to reflect on the journey of a musician and a teacher. For the city, it is also a way to come together in remembrance of a fellow citizen.
The role of the teacher deserves our reflection. Those who teach music pass on technique, the art of listening, and passion. A tribute to a teacher therefore also celebrates the value of teaching. Every student carries something of their teacher with them. That is why the work of those who teach remains valuable even many years later.
The piano offers a wide variety of tonal colors. It moves naturally from softness to power. The choir, on the other hand, combines many voices into a single sound. The segments dedicated to memories add a personal dimension to the tribute.
