The show is inspired by three stories by Gianni Rodari from *Favole al telefono* and three chapters from *Grammatica della Fantasia*, including “Little Red Riding Hood in a Helicopter,” “Fairy Tales Backwards,” and “Getting Stories Wrong.”
Through a theatrical lens rooted in playfulness and irony, the play presents various versions of Little Red Riding Hood. The performance unfolds as a series of stylistic exercises in which the actors portray different versions of the protagonist—including the classic, English, rocket, silly, crazy, or digital versions—until the actors are physically exhausted. Even the supporting characters, such as the wolf, the mother, the grandmother, and the hunter, must adapt to the protagonist’s constant transformations.
The initiative aims to stimulate free and creative thinking in children, teenagers, and adults, following Rodari’s approach, which viewed play as a tool for addressing freedom and responsibility.
