From September 24 to 27, “I Prodòcc de Bérs” returns to Berzo San Fermo, the historic event dedicated to exploring peasant culture and rural traditions.
“I Prodòcc de Bérs – Tradition and Flavors, From the Land to the Table,” the event dedicated to rural culture, rural traditions, and local flavors, returns to Berzo San Fermo from September 24 to 27, 2026. For four days, the Municipal Sports Center will serve as the hub for a program that highlights the relationship between community, agriculture, and the landscape through workshops, meetings, in-depth discussions, film screenings, family activities, a local farmers’ market, and initiatives centered on traditional cuisine.
The event is part of a broader initiative to promote Val Cavallina as a destination for experiences centered on food, nature, and traditions, supported by a grant from the Lombardy Region under the “Lombardia Style” call for proposals. This project aims to strengthen the region’s ability to showcase its finest offerings through authentic, participatory experiences, bringing together culture, local products, communities, and hospitality.
In Berzo San Fermo, this journey finds a unique expression in the preservation and promotion of rural heritage. The title itself, “I Prodòcc de Bérs,” evokes the heritage of knowledge, traditions, crafts, and customs that have shaped village life for generations and that today can serve as an opportunity for learning and connection, even for those coming from outside the valley.
