While the “Voci di Montagna, Sguardi di città” project offers visitors the chance to view the “Cucina Baschenis” exhibition at the Baschenis Museum in Santa Brigida, the Bernareggi Museum presents its visitors with a small but exquisite selection of “silent concerts” by the Brembana master. Three distinct paintings—exquisite variations on the so-called “portraits of instruments”—accompanied by period instruments and the opportunity to enjoy a selection of musical performances, transport the viewer into a symbolic realm where the relationship between music and silence becomes allegory and meaning. A proposal that connects the city and the mountains, celebration and everyday life, in a dialogue between museums and the community.
