The play is part of the Crystal’s 24th theater season. The story is set in the labor and delivery room at San Callello Hospital in Rome, where a woman is about to give birth. The situation becomes frantic as an obstetrician tries to manage both the patient and her companion—a close friend and successful manager—who is nervous and self-centered. The woman chose not to disclose her pregnancy precisely to maintain her independence.
The bond between the two protagonists—born of a coincidence in their names—is put to the test during the birth itself, revealing a feeling that has never been confessed and has been held back by a fear of change. The trio, along with the ironic figure of the obstetrician Francesco, faces a night destined to transform their lives through a story that explores the impulses, fears, and search for balance of a generation seeking points of reference.

Advance tickets will be available starting October 29, 2026, through the online ticket office on the Crystal Theater website or at the theater box office one hour before the show begins. Tickets can also be purchased during the week of the event on Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
