The Restaurants Ambassador program invites restaurateurs to become ambassadors of the area, promoting quality catering that respects criteria of authenticity, sustainability and enhancement of local traditions, offering a representative experience of Bergamo’s gastronomic culture.
- Selection of Bergamasque wines on the wine list: present at least 3-4 local Bergamasque wines, placed first on the wine list.
- Bergamasque cheese plate/selection proposal: offer a selection or plate of typical cheeses from the Bergamo area.
- Availability of customized d oggy bags and bottle holders: provide doggy bags and bottle holders, to encourage responsible consumption.
- Area information materials: have available to customers information materials related to the Bergamo area, for example, brochures, maps, or guidebooks, to promote local culture and attractions.
- Displaying the UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy brand: displaying the UNESCO creative city of gastronomy logo to let customers know the importance of the designation and help build Bergamo’s image as a gastronomic destination.
- Fact sheet on VisitBergamo Restaurants: be featured with a detailed fact sheet on the VisitBergamo Restaurants website to ensure visibility to visitors and emphasize membership in the network.
- Evaluation of local waters: consider the use of local mineral waters to strengthen local identity, including through the choice of beverages.
