On Saturday, March 20, 2027, at 9:00 p.m., the Teatro Circolo Fratellanza in Casnigo will host *Here Comes the Bride!*, a witty two-act comedy by Ray Cooney and John Chapman, staged by L’Indomita Compagnia Teatrale and directed by Marco Amico.
The morning of his daughter’s wedding should be a time of celebration, but for Timothy—the bride’s father and an advertising executive who’s always absorbed in his work—things take a decidedly unpredictable turn.
While the house is in an uproar amid last-minute preparations and meddlesome relatives, Timothy hits his head and finds himself face-to-face with a charming young woman in her twenties—who is completely invisible to everyone else.
From that moment on, amid misunderstandings, mistaken identities, absurd phone calls, and mysterious gifts, the situation spirals into a series of unexpected events. Will the bride and groom make it to the church, and will the family manage to keep their cool?
A fast-paced comedy built on plot twists and absurd situations in the tradition of British theatrical comedy.
The show, which runs for approximately 90 minutes, features Marilisa Barcella, Martina Brignoli, Francesco Bianchi, Norberto Marchi, Davide Buzzavo, Gabriella Gelmi, Elena Veronelli, and Giovan Battista Guerini.
The performance concludes the “L’Indomita Rassegna Teatrale” theater festival, organized in collaboration with the Bergamo Theater League.
