On Saturday, January 30, 2027, at 4:00 p.m., the Teatro Circolo Fratellanza in Casnigo will host *Tra rete e realtà* (Between the Internet and Reality), a brilliant one-act comedy by the Compagnia Teatrale Amici sul Serio, written and directed by Viviana Valsecchi.
Performed by teenagers, young adults, and adults, the play explores the theme of responsible cell phone use and the relationship between the digital world and personal relationships.
The story begins in a square where, despite the presence of many people, everyone seems isolated in their own virtual world. The encounter between Riccardo, the son of a wealthy industrialist, and Letizia, a girl from a farming family, marks the beginning of a change. A broken cell phone and an unexpected feeling lead the young man to see the reality around him in a new light.
Meanwhile, Riccardo’s family is going through a financial crisis. His father, Renato—who is entirely focused on his work—faces business difficulties that force him to rethink his priorities. It will be Teodoro, Letizia’s brother and a factory employee, who helps find a solution.
Amid family drama and unexpected encounters, the play invites us to reflect on the importance of listening, sharing, and spending time together—beyond the screens.
The play, sponsored by Patti Digitali, is part of L’Indomita Rassegna Teatrale, organized by L’Indomita Compagnia Teatrale in collaboration with the Lega Teatrale Bergamasca.
