The event presents an ancient fairy tale centered on a wise patriarch and his family as they set out to save the animals. The theme of living together in confined spaces, amid external hostility, is explored through the inspiration drawn from Sergio Endrigo’s album of the same name and the poems of Vinicius de Moraes.
The story of the conflicts and the solutions found by human and animal families follows the structure of a traditional fairy tale, incorporating elements of humor intended for an audience of all ages.
The story follows the patriarch’s efforts to save his world as the planet is submerged, bringing people and animals aboard a large floating house. The set, consisting of a wooden boat decorated with images of animals, accompanies the performance through the use of music and songs.
