Two artists\u2014but above all, two friends who are regulars at the Druso\u2014are set to perform a special double bill at Bergamo\u2019s temple of music on Sunday, October 25, at 6:00 p.m. (Via Antonio Locatelli 17, Ranica\u2014doors open at 5:00 p.m.): La Regina dei Rospi\u2014aka the queen of the Druso, Marilena\u2014and indie singer-songwriter Riki Cellini.<\/p>\n
Two worlds, many songs, and a single piano: Valerio Baggio\u2019s, which will accompany Marilena and Riki in an intimate and captivating concert dedicated to original music\u2014ranging from singer-songwriter pop, jazz, disco, and the great tradition of Italian singer-songwriting\u2014with those for whom the Druso has always been a way of life and a source of inspiration.<\/p>\n
Cellini brings to the stage the soundscape of his new album \u201cL\u2019estate tutto l\u2019anno,\u201d available since last March on all digital platforms\u2014a work that reaffirms his signature style: elegant, free, untouched by fleeting trends, and built around emotional truth. The Druso concert will mark the final stop on the album\u2019s promotional tour\u2014a laid-back production with a nocturnal, almost whispered mood \u201cto rediscover the balance between music and words,\u201d explains Cellini, \u201cbecause sometimes silences carry as much weight as a note or an unspoken word.\u201d <\/p>\n
