Laurentiu Adrian Craioveanu opens the doors of his studio in Bergamo with an exhibition featuring images, sculptures, drawings, and installations, illustrating the processes and experiments that underpin his artistic practice.

Projects and Image

On Saturday, October 3, at 6 p.m., the Art Studio LAC in Bergamo will open “Progetti e immagini,” an exhibition by Laurentiu Adrian Craioveanu that presents to the public various stages of his artistic exploration through works, installations, and displays. The exhibition brings together different artistic languages and techniques—from painting to sculpture, from drawing to video—alternating between traditional practices and contemporary experiments.

At the heart of the project lies the relationship between design and image, understood as part of a creative process that transforms intuitions and inner journeys into visible, material forms. The artist’s exploration unfolds through irregular stages, moments of acceleration and pauses, until elements are defined that can be observed, reworked, and installed in space.

The work also engages with the continuous flow of images and stimuli in contemporary life. In this context, artistic practice becomes an opportunity to slow down one’s gaze, reorganize materials and knowledge, and open up new expressive possibilities.

Born in Romania in 1987, Craioveanu was educated in both Italy and Romania and earned a degree in sculpture from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, where he subsequently pursued further studies in the visual arts. Also active in cultural and curatorial planning, he has lived in Bergamo since 2025, where he runs the LAC Open Studio project.

The exhibition is open from October 3 to 12, daily from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Art Studio LAC, located at Via Borgo Palazzo 10 in Bergamo. For more information: lac.artstudio@gmail.com, phone 328 604 6892.
