tour dedicated to showcasing the village\u2019s treasures and the murals of Covo, featuring guided tours and historical insights.<\/p>\n","hero_title":"A Hidden Gem to Discover","indepth":"<p>The Pianura da Scoprire Association, the Municipality of COVO, the Covo Pro Loco, the Lorenzo Lotto Comprehensive School, and Terre di Bergamo by Tosca Rossi present a program of guided tours aimed at showcasing the treasures of the Central Lombard Plain. The initiative aims to raise awareness of the area\u2019s historical and artistic heritage through tours of the historic center and the street art found throughout the village. <\/p>\n<h3>Guided Tour Schedule<\/h3>\n<p>The guided tours, led by student tour guides from the L. Lotto Middle School, include a walking tour through the streets of downtown, taking in the main religious buildings and murals. The tours will take place at the following times: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday, October 10, at 5:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Sunday, October 11, at 10:30 a.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A second tour, led by Tosca Rossi of Terre di Bergamo, will take place on Sunday, October 11, at 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>  Itinerary and Tour Details  <\/p>\n<p>The meeting point is Piazza SS Apostoli, Covo. The tour includes the parish church with the relics of Saint Lazarus, the Oratory of the Disciplini, the shrine of Saint Lazarus, the castle tower, the mill outside Porta Mattina, the small church of Saint Lucy, and the murals in the village. A voluntary donation is requested to support the humanitarian projects of the Amare Onlus association.  <\/p>\n<h3>Other events this weekend<\/h3>\n<p>In conjunction with the event, there will be other activities related to the local festival and culture:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>39th Covo Local Ravioli Festival: Friday, the 9th, and Saturday, the 10th, for dinner; and Sunday, the 11th, for lunch at the parish hall and participating venues.<\/li>\n<li>12th Annual Medioevo Covese: Saturday, the 10th, featuring a medieval village at 7:00 p.m. and the play \u201cIl sacro dono del Colleoni\u201d at 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, the 11th, featuring a medieval village, a historical parade, and traveling performances starting at 10:00 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Contemporary Art Exhibition \u201cCovone.
