Born in Milan in 1967, Carlotta Cristiani lives between Milan and Rome. She graduated from the \u201cLuchino Visconti\u201d Civic Film School and, since 1992, has been editing fiction films and documentaries that have been screened at major international film festivals. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with some of the most influential directors on the contemporary Italian film scene: Silvio Soldini, with whom she has worked on films such as *Pane e tulipani*, *Agata e la tempesta*, *Giorni e nuvole*, and *Il comandante e la cicogna*; Leonardo Di Costanzo, on films such as *L\u2019intervallo* and *Ariaferma*; Marina Spada, on *Come l\u2019ombra* and *Il mio domani*; and Laura Bispuri, with whom she edited *Vergine giurata* and *Figlia mia*. She has also worked with directors such as Bruno Oliviero, Massimo Venier, and Alice Rohrwacher, building an extensive filmography that spans both auteur cinema and international productions. <\/p>\n
Her work has earned her two David di Donatello nominations for Best Editor\u2014for *Brucio nel vento* and *Giorni e nuvole*\u2014as well as a Nastro d\u2019Argento nomination for Best Editing for *Pane e tulipani*.
