Miranda is one of Uranus’ moons: the smallest, the closest, but also the most extreme. Its surface is an impossible landscape, made up of canyons kilometers deep, faults that end without warning, and regions that seem to have been pieced together by different hands. Astronomers describe it as a \u201creassembled\u201d body: fragments of distinct worlds, held together by a fragile and visible balance.
Miranda is also the name of Performatorio\u2019s new satellite project, developed for the Donizetti Studio in collaboration with the Donizetti Foundation: a space dedicated to emerging artists, where different languages and practices come together without merging, maintaining their identity as fragments.
Like its namesake moon, Miranda does not seek unity but coexistence: a rugged terrain where each artist brings their own surface. A satellite that orbits alongside Performatorio, sharing its course but charting an autonomous trajectory.

<\/strong>In *The Beginning Weight*, Nicola Fornoni presents the body as a point of contact and resistance. Twelve iron spheres\u2014magnets\u2014traverse the space between the artist\u2019s hands: attracted, repelled, and rolled according to a mechanics that eludes full control.
The work is the heavy counterpart to a previous piece by Fornoni, *The Beginning Light*, which was instead built on the lightness of goose feathers. Here, by contrast, matter becomes mass: the spheres move like bodies in orbit, attracting and repelling one another according to their own physics, while the artist\u2014her body\u2014endures their force and unpredictability.
A physical dialogue between resistance and surrender, where the gesture becomes the space in which attraction is experienced.

He has presented solo and group works in international venues, including Grace Exhibition Space in New York, SOMA Art Space in Berlin, Palazzo Mora in Venice during the Venice International Performance Art Week, and MAXXI in Rome. In Italy, he has been a guest artist at, among others, Vaku Project Space in Bergamo and MO.CA in Brescia, where he presented the solo exhibition *Take a Breath and Let It Go*.
He collaborates with the VestAndPage collective, participating in video and performance projects, and in 2022 he was part of the Under Scars residency at Forte Marghera, which culminated in the group performance *The Under Scars* at Palazzo Mora in Venice. <\/p>\n","price":"
