The fourth edition of the national 100% plant-based pastry contest sponsored by LAV presents the finalists selected from among professionals from all over Italy.<\/p>\n","hero_title":"Veg\u00e2teau 2026","indepth":"

Veg\u00e2teau is the result of a collaboration between LAV and Funny Veg, with the goal of demonstrating how pastries made without animal-derived ingredients can be innovative and contemporary. The project aligns with current food trends that reflect a growing use of plant-based products in daily diets. <\/p>\n

The event features a judging panel composed of pastry chefs, industry experts, and journalists. Prizes include product donations from companies such as The Bridge Bio, Hopl\u00e0 Idee Veg, and Vandemoelle, as well as a master\u2019s program at the FunnyVeg Academy. The event is supported by various industry associations, including APEI, CONPAIT, FIPGC, CAPAB, and CPA. <\/p>\n

The final of the fourth edition will be held on October 18 at the Daste headquarters in Bergamo. The event will feature 10 finalists and the selection of 5 members of the audience to serve on the public jury. Proceeds from the event will go toward the care and rehabilitation of animals rescued by the Provincial Animal Abuse Hotline. <\/p>\n
