Fontanella is located at the foot of Monte Canto, in the municipality of Sotto il Monte, in the Province of Bergamo. The building, an example of Romanesque architecture, was founded in the 11th century by Alberto da Prezzate and is an important site of historical and artistic interest in the area. <\/p>\n<p>The tour includes a visit to the abbey church and its portal, which features medieval frescoes. Some of the paintings are attributed to the Baschenis family, who were active in the field of religious art in Bergamo.
