\nIn the wonderful Malpaga Castle, just 15km from the centre of Bergamo, a historic dinner is scheduled that will immerse you in the world of witches or take you back to medieval times.
\nMalpaga Castle is a perfectly preserved architectural jewel, famous for being the residence of Bergamos leader Bartolomeo Colleoni around 1450.
\nIt is located in a bucolic landscape, surrounded by green fields in an oasis of peace and silence.
\nThe perfect atmosphere for a dive back to the past with medieval and witches dinners, a sumptuous four-course banquet and, to finish the evening, a final ritual at the end will delight you.<\/p>\n
A 15th century style dinner.
\nThe various courses will be introduced by the Signora del Gioco who will explain the origin of the various dishes and their link with the tradition of witches: aromatic herbs, spices and ingredients had very strong symbolic values and supported by ancient superstitions related to witchcraft.
\nThe dinner will be interspersed with enchanting rituals that will bring us back to reliving now lost customs linked to the ancestral secrets of female wisdom.
\nThe rigorously historical menu will be cooked according to recipes found in ancient manuscripts.
\nThe banquet hall of the castle will host the large convivial table which will be set according to medieval customs with period furnishings and crockery, candle lighting and themed arrangements. The atmosphere will be made even more enchanting by the large, perfectly functional fifteenth-century fireplace.<\/p>\n
