Fontanile Brancaleone Nature Reserve is located on the border between Pagazzano, a town that is home to a wonderful castle, and Caravaggio, a town on the Bergamo plain known for its highly visited Marian shrine, about 20 km from the city of Bergamo.<\/p>\n
The reserve covers about 10 hectares of greenery, forest and ponds.
\nAlthough it is a small area, it is home to various species of plants, flowers and animals. <\/p>\n
In terms of flora, the Sill Fountain, sees wooded areas, cultivated areas, and areas with marsh vegetation.<\/p>\n
The most common animals are different types of frogs, the European mole, the fox, but especially many birds.
