The house can be booked for a maximum of 30 nights.

Final cleaning, sheets, blankets, towels and bath and kitchen soaps are included in your booking.

The house is located in the Lombardy region in the province of Bergamo, in the village of Monasterolo del Castello, on Lake Endine. It is in an exclusive tourist complex called “Residence Lago di Endine” and can accommodate 4-6 people.

On request, we can provide a camping cot and a high chair.

The private garden is well-kept, with plants and flower beds in bloom from spring to autumn, privacy is guaranteed by a thick hedge at least 1.80m high on the perimeter of the property.

There is a brick barbecue where you can prepare delicious grilled meat or fish.

After general cleaning, the frequently touched surfaces are sanitised, such as door handles and switches, using products and solutions with diluted household bleach or with at least 70% alcohol.

The heating system guarantees comfort all year round.

Your pets are welcome.


Staying with us is ideal for those looking for a place to enjoy a few days of peace and tranquility, where to do various sports, walk in the historic village or along the pedestrian paths by the lake. In a short time, you can also reach important Italian cities and places of cultural, historical and gastronomic interest.

Lake Endine is located about 25km from Bergamo, in a central position between the renowned lakes of Como, Lecco, Iseo and Garda. It is located 340m above sea level and is part of a Natural Park therefore it is subject to protection.

 

Monasterolo del Castello:

Lying on the shores of Lake Endine, it is one of the busiest and most charming towns in the area and offers a pleasant environment full of things to do, a real jewel surrounded by mountains.

In the historic centre of the town (3/4 minutes on foot) there is a bakery and grocery store, a newsagent and two cafes.

 

The Springs:

The territory of Monasterolo is dotted with various springs from which to get water rich in natural properties. The main ones are located in Località Pom.

 

Beaches:

It is possible to swim in the lake. There are two beaches that can be easily reached on foot: Biali park and the Casa del Pescatore. Both are equipped with showers, picnic areas with barbecues, bar with fantastic aperitifs and a restaurant.

 

Sports:

You can explore the perimeter of the lake both on foot and by bicycle along a cycle-pedestrian path.

In the water, you can go swimming, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing but it is also possible to rent a pedal boat for a quiet trip with family and friends;

For trekking lovers, numerous paths branch off from the centre of Monasterolo del Castello and ascend into the mountains

For fishing enthusiasts, the fish species present are Tench, Pike, Perch, Black bass, Bleak and Catfish, the area is well known among Carp-fishing lovers.

The car parks adjacent to the Residence marked with white lines are free and you shouldn't have any problems finding a place. The car parks marked with blue lines are subject to charges from 1st April to 15th October on Sundays and public holidays, but are subject to charges every day in the months of July and August.

There is an excellent pizza restaurant adjacent to the Residence Lago di Endine and reachable in two minutes on foot. In addition to offering a wide choice of typically Italian meat and fish dishes, they also provide a take-away service for evenings in which you prefer to relax at home, without having to cook yourself.

Cosa visitare nelle immediate vicinanze in Val Cavallina: Riserva Naturale Valle del Freddo: (10 Km) in alta Val Cavallina, subito dopo il laghetto di Gaiano, la Valle del Freddo è forse il fenomeno naturale più interessante e singolare dell'intero territorio bergamasco per via del suo particolare microclima. In questa località, posta a soli 360 metri di altitudine, cresce infatti un'ampia varietà di flora di norma rintracciabile solo a quote superiori a 1500 metri. Tutto ciò avviene perché nel terreno si generano correnti d'aria a temperatura bassissima (2-4 gradi) che fuoriescono da una serie di buche poste nel fondo della valletta e consentono la sopravvivenza, anche durante l'estate, della vegetazione alpina tra cui la stella alpina. La Valle del Freddo è un parco visitabile nei mesi di maggio, giugno e luglio. Valle delle sorgenti e bioparco: (7 Km) Una rete di due chilometri di sentieri si snoda nei tredici ettari dell’oasi di Gaverina Terme, tra biodiversità, cultura e agricoltura. Seguendo questi percorsi immersi nel verde, si incontrano cascine, antichi roccoli, spazi dedicati alla didattica e alle attività all’aria aperta, oltre a occasioni di approfondimento della storia e della cultura locale. E se il trekking vi ha fatto venire l’acquolina in bocca, il Bioparco della Val Cavallina vi offre anche piacevoli pause enogastronomiche. Museo Cavellas: (4 Km) Palazzo Bettoni: nelle sale di questa residenza settecentesca nel cuore di Casazza, si snoda il racconto di una terra plasmata dall’uomo, il quale ha intrecciato la propria vita con la pietra, l’acqua, la vegetazione e gli animali. Una fitta rete di acque, pietre lavorate, animali selvatici, pascoli erbosi formano con l’uomo un delicato ecosistema da riscoprire e tutelare, raccontato da una selezionata raccolta di oggetti appartenenti alla tradizione contadina e non solo. Buca del Corno e Parco Stoppani: (13 Km) Una rarità in tutta la regione, la Buca del Corno si trova ad Entratico e con i suoi 385 metri di lunghezza è una delle poche grotte visitabili in Lombardia: al suo interno, dopo la galleria d’ingresso si trovano prima la Sala della Cascata e poi quella del Vortice, da cui partono altri due cunicoli, uno dei quali attraversato dall’acqua.
