On the shore of Lake Carona, in the Upper Brembana Valley, surrounded by a large pine forest stands the long-standing Bar Pineta.
The Vanini family of Carona has managed it with enthusiasm and passion since 1965, when it started out as a small kiosk. In 1998 it was completely renovated, becoming a reference point for the departure of various excursions and offering various opportunities for sport, fun and relaxation in the enchanting mountain environment of the Upper Brembana Valley.
Bar Pineta offers a snack bar, cafeteria, sandwich shop, ice cream parlour, games room and a large amount of sports equipment throughout the year.
In the winter period, between December and March, you can take advantage of the large outdoor skating rink which is located right in front of the bar. You will also have the opportunity to use the bobsleigh track, equipped with a ski lift and you can rent skates, snowshoes and sleds directly from the bar.
During summer, the little ones can have fun on the trampolines and the inflatables. What in winter is the bobsleigh track, in summer it turns into a tubing track, which can be used by children ages 5 and up.
If all the moving around makes you hungry, you can take advantage of the extensive picnic area outside the restaurant for a packed lunch. You can also enjoy one of the many outdoor barbecues that Bar Pineta organises from June to September, enjoying a spectacular view of the lake and the mountains.

In July and August the barbecue is open every day for lunch and in the two central weeks of August also for dinner. In June and September, it is open only on weekends. Reservation is necessary.
As for sports activities, reservations are required during the week; on weekends and holidays it is however advisable to contact by phone.
