E-bike Italy Tour – Bergamo and Parco dei Colli

What awaits you

Visiting Bergamo, its hills and historic villages on two wheels is exciting. The routes are carefully planned by e-bike Italy to best enjoy the ride around the highlights of the city in a relaxed and safe way.

You will start from the e-bike Italy office in Via Bonomelli, in the centre of Bergamo. With e-bikes you will head out for an exciting tour of the most charming and panoramic corners of Bergamo. You will ride through the centre of lower Bergamo and around the UNESCO World Heritage walls, until you reach Upper Bergamo. After a short stop, you will discover Bergamo’s Hills, San Vigilio, the locality of Fontana, Madonna del Bosco and you will make another stop at the former Astino Monastery. It is a place of enormous historical and architectural value, surrounded by the hills and located next to the section of the botanical garden called "Biodiversity Valley". We then resume riding our e-bikes across the city’s cycle paths and reach the refreshment point in via Borgo Palazzo, the longest and oldest communication artery of Bergamo. At La Piazzetta bar, a degustation of local wines will be offered, after which you will return to the starting point.

The itinerary allows you to ride through areas of the city that are full of history and monuments and to admire wonderful landscapes and panoramic points.

During the journey, the MTB guide will give you valuable information on the characteristics and how to use pedal assistance systems.

• Comfortable clothing and sneakers are recommended.
• The tour is aimed at people 16 years and over
• The route is a mix of asphalt / dirt track with moderate difficulty and uphill slopes designed to better appreciate the skills of pedal assistance.
