Description

The Enoteca al Ponte won the "Wine Oscar" in 2012 and 2015 as the best wine shop, an international award recognised with a medal from the President of the Republic. It is the only one in Italy to have won the award twice.

In the historical wine shop it is possible to find Italian and international wines, as well as a selection of historical spirits with vintages from 1868 to the present day and high quality food.

Opened in 1937 as a grocery store by grandmother Regina in the post-war period, it continued to be a point of reference, and not only in Bergamo, for food products.

In the seventies, her son Italo transformed what was once a grocery store into one of the first Italian wine stores.

Italo Castelletti became an A.I.S. Professional Sommelier in 1977, simultaneously opening the A.I.S. of Bergamo.


Luca is a professional sommelier A.S.P.I. importer and exporter of wines, spirits and quality food. He attended numerous specialisation courses abroad, in the wine shop tastings and lessons about vintage wines and spirits, unique products and unobtainable pieces. It is not a simple wine shop but a place where many relics are exhibited.
