From the top of the tall tower to the mysterious undergrounds, discover the mysteries of the Milan Viscontea of the 1300s. The Castle in Trezzo is the guardian of the Adda river, still today it guards the historic borders.

Built in the mid-1300s by Barnabò Visconti, probably among the most impressive, it was used as a military fortress but also as a summer residence for the lords of Milan.

Strange events characterised the building right away, the owner himself was poisoned in the prisons under the Manor.

Conquered in 1402 by the Colleoni, it was the target of wars and military stratagems. It lost its bridge in 1416 due to heavy catapult blows!

During the Sforza period, it was also the subject of one of Leonardo da Vinci's drawings!

Today in a wonderful park inhabited by squirrels and animals of the Adda Nord park. The highest Viscontea tower in the region remains as well as the very large undergrounds and prisons that extend into the bowels of the earth just below the remains of the fortress.

Today it welcomes around 30,000 tourists a year.
